Starting Over Means Giving Yourself Some Slack and Having Fun

Are you starting over? Have you hit the wall of Going No Where? Frustrated? Don’t see job opportunities? Hopeless very limited income opportunities?

Maybe you have lived enough of life to get a picture that is not very good. Like, you need to change the entire direction of your life-starting over? Your personal relationships suck? The quality time you spend with your spouse or significant other stinks. For sure, the quality time you spend with your children is not good. They are probably virtual strangers to you.

So what are you going to do about starting over? I know. You are probably too burned out to do anything about your sad life. I’ve been there. The important thing is to take some positive action. Like, throw your self in front of a truck. No! Just kidding.

For sure, you need to change your priorities in life-starting over? Or maybe get a different perspective on life-starting over. By the time you have hit 40 years old plus you have some self doubts. “ Maybe if I would have done this or did that.” I am sure you get the picture.

The key to succeeding with “Starting Over” or “Beginning a New Direction” is WANTING TOO. You can do virtually anything if you want to bad enough. “But what if I choose the wrong priorities or goals again?” The logical answer is “Don’t worry about it”. You going 100 mph now to “nowhere”. What has it got you? Your pissed off. Frustrated. You don’t like yourself very much. And, you really don’t care much for anybody else. You really have worked yourself into a sad state of affairs.

One of the hardest things to do is redirect your life. On the other hand, if you would look at it realistically, starting over should be no big deal. Forget about what other people think or would think if you take on some new Directions and Priorities. Why? The dirty little secret is most people could care less what you do with your life. Because it’s plain human nature to be pretty much wrapped up in ourselves.

We just don’t have the time or inclination to give two cents about what somebody else is doing with his or her life. So quite worrying about what will “they think" about what I do.

Step #1-Take positive action. Any action. Beginning a new career. Just get the ball rolling. You can always change course latter on. There is nothing like the magic of "doing" inorder to get positive feedback for your New Direction in life. And that is, or might be, what?

I don’t know. What difference does it make? Just move out and take action. Getting a new life outlook while you are starting over. Enroll in school. Take a course in public speaking. Go see a job headhunter. Inquire about improving your personal relationships. Study how to be a great lover to your spouse or significant other. Maybe, by a miracle, you can restore love and respect in your relationships with your children. Become a daredevil risk taker. That’s right! Do things, Take chances. See how many screwups you can make. We learn from mistakes, right? Tell me, how many happy successful people do you know who always “play it safe”? Not many I’ll bet.

You probably need to introduce a little healthy dose of Daring, Courage, and Self-Confidence into your life. This means occasionally stepping out of your Comfort Zone.
