The Power Of Redemption Will Let You Soar With The Eagles!

Give to Get-Series #2

The power of redemption is wonderful because it is a Gift that keeps on giving!

So, all of you Movers and Shakers, listen up, because you are going to have lots of company soon. How’s that? Well, let me tell you…there are millions of us little people out there, who have just got the “word”. Yeah, we found out about your little secret...the power of redemption!

And what is that you ask? We just found out that life can actually be fun! That’s right. We have discovered that there is honest to goodness joy in this world. At least that is what the power of redemption has taught us.

What or who let the genie out of the bottle? “Yeah, like life is supposed to be great.” I’ll tell you who. Why of course, it’s LOVE, SELF-ESTEEM AND RESPECT. No big deal, right?

Why you are dog gone, Sally Mae, and Mary Lou right, and it is a Big Deal! It is a big deal too me and all of my friends who thought life was a real ball buster. Whoops, excuse my French. But anyway, I’m sure you get my drift? I love the sweet power of redemption.

Guess what? I needed to meet Mr. And Mrs. Love, Self-Esteem and Respect before they would let me know Mr. And Mrs. Redemption. Initially, I was scratching my head about this. Now I know why.

You have to love and appreciate yourself before you can forgive yourself and anybody else for that matter! I guess that is why the Historical Wise Men encouraged everyone to love your neighbors as yourself.

Hey dude, it’s not bad to have a healthy appreciation of yourself. What goes around, comes around. Then, you can reach out to other people.

The grace of redemption is really a very sweet science. I kid you not. I mean when you can go through life, and cut yourself some slack, now and then, it makes it a lot easier to overlook the slights and insults your neighbors and business associates intentionally or unintentionally throw at you.

I have learned to sympathize with that “perfectionist” who is very hard on himself. Consider it found money, when you run into a perfectionist, that he is also very judgmental about everybody else. Why?

Because we all know, what goes around, comes around! If he or she is tough on himself, lookout! There is going to be heck to pay for everyone else.

You want to win friends and influence people? Try this, next time you run into a whiner or complainer, instead of wanting to stuff that person, try sympathizing with them. Yeah, humor them. Cut them some slack. Most of these people are hurting inside, only they just don’t know it.

I’ll give you 2:1 odds this is what will happen…The “complainer” will think you are the most intelligent person and charming human being in the room. Mr. Miserable will probably become downright friendly with you.

Personally speaking, life is much sweeter now days for me. Since I learned to cut my self some slack, I am having a lot more fun. Little things don't get to me, like they used to. I find myself actually enjoying the company of other people. I am looser and not as uptight.

Oh yeah, give me that sweet power of redemption.
