Dare To Believe In Yourself
It is never too late to believe in yourself if you have the courage to stand for your greatness. I run into people everyday who ask me this question. “Is it too late for me?” I hear this all the time. My first question to these people is why would it be too late? I get all kinds of answers. “Well it’s like this. I am an old guy now. During my younger days, when I had all kinds of “juice”, for various reasons, I just never used my potential. “Now I am old and gray. My health is problematic. Oh I work out and all of that stuff, but you just never know when I will have another physical set back.” Or if age isn’t a factor, then bad life experiences comes up. “I have blown through more opportunities then you can shake a stick at. I probably won’t get another chance.” My answer to all of this is, “Dare to believe in yourself". Believe in the power of Belief. It’s never too late to realize your potential as long as you have faith in yourself. If this “believe in yourself” business is new to you, don’t worry about it. Just don’t get too analytical about it. If you do, I guarantee you will ruin all or any possibilities of realizing your greatness. Why? What happens is when you get too analytical, you make it difficult for your subconscious mind to process everything. This in turn prevents your subconscious from giving you helpful insights and suggestions regarding your goals and aspirations. See Murphy’s, The Power of Your Subconscious Mind. I don’t care if you believe in nothing, but yourself, you can do this. The key element is to possess positive “belief”. Dare to believe in yourself. If you are spiritual, that helps. It helps because you are accustomed to dealing with the unknown. You have experience with dealing with the super natural. Most likely you have had a few miracles in your life. They may have been small miracles, but they have been miracles and that definitely counts for something. Firstly, you will need to adjust your sights on goals that are worthy of your abilities. This won’t be that easy. If you are accustomed to thinking of yourself as “little me”, then you need to do some work on your self esteem. Otherwise, you will short change yourself. You will end spending a lot of energy and effort on a goal that is considerably below your capabilities and talents. Trust me on this. I personally have been guilty of this bartering for a penny when I could have been asking for a million dollars. Maybe not a “million”, but close to it. Anyway, I am sure you get my drift. Just dare to believe in yourself. Right off the bat, you need to realize that inorder to really get what you want, you need to become that kind of person who attracts exactly what you want. That’s right. We are looking at the law of attraction. Let me give you my own personal experience. This hopefully, will help you with some insight. I have enjoyed perfect health all of my life, that is up to two years ago. Then all holy heck broke through. It started with appendicitis, and then progressed to cancer being found in the biopsy of the appendix. We moved from that to colon cancer. Yeah, those nasty cancer cells dropped down to the colon from the appendix. Are you still with me? I get five weeks of radiation and chemotherapy and then the docs throw me in the hospital for radiation poisoning. I spend eighteen days in the hospital trying to recover from this nasty episode.Eventually, I do recuperate from this ordeal. I begin working out and get back in shape. Just about four months ago I get diagnosed for a blocked carotid artery. The surgery is successful. I have been working out and feel on top of my game now. The question is, do I go on living with the thought that I am on borrowed time? Or, do I move on from this period of tough times, brush myself off, and keep on giving life all I have? You know what I mean? Dare to believe in yourself. After some deep thought, I have decided to go after my goals and ambitions with all of the gusto I can gather up! I want to stay focused on obtaining the prizes I have set out for myself. No kidding, I want people to say that guy went out with his boots on. You know what I mean? No holding back! Let me suggest the same strategy for you. Don’t hold back. Let it rip. Give it all you got! No it’s never to late to believe in yourself if you Stand for Your Greatness.
